Teimur Radjabov (12. 03. 1987, Baku, Azerbaijan). When 15 years old Teimur Radjabov had been included in the prestigious tournament in Spanish city Linares, everybody thought that it was freak of the event-office. But young grand-master created the sensation in the 2nd round – he won Garry Kasparov with black pieces! Linares 2003 became start tournament for Radjabov. Since that time he is in the world chess elite. Event-offices of big chess tournaments dream to have Teimur as a participant. It’is not boring, when he played! Grand-master from Baku has enterprising, pushing game style, doesn’t love short bored draws, and struggles till the end with white and black pieces. He is in the Top 10 of great chess-players during last two years. Also he is one of the youngest challengers for the world champion title. Teimur will visit Kazakhstan and Almaty the first time.
